or maybe just goldfish
I've heard they can grow
as big as their tank allows
I know someone with goldfish
that are four inches long!
that's not very big for some things
but for a goldfish that's pretty big
I wish I could grow
as big as the world allowed
but I think then,
I might be only four inches small
Changing the way we look at poetry since 2007

Stray is a collective of people who want to revolutionize the state of poetry in the world today. The idea behind this is that the practice and celebration of poetry has become stale and limited only to people in academics (who pay lots of money to write about poetry) or published poets (who get paid lots of money to write poetry). This is not true. There is no such thing as a professional poet. Our poems cannot be bought and sold. There is no form of capital or elitism that can be applied to human expression. Stray seeks to revitalize this ancient art form and bring the power of composing back to the common people through a variety of methods. Most of these methods will not be nonviolent. Load your poetry guns and lob your poetry grenades. Stray is the new word revolution.
