...so I think this is really sweet but I need some help with the structure maybe? Order of stuff?
Today,
The colors of clouds are
Blending with buildings
And the world is heavy with the smell
Of chocolate cereal and plastic packaging.
Which are indistinguishable from
One another.
I walk on tiled sidewalks,
Never crossing the street.
And the stacks of smoke above me
Repeat their coal-tinted verse:
Puff puff pass
Puff puff pass
The B-Boys on the corner
Have taken a dismal advantage of this.
They’ve rolled up their cardboard
And break their lungs to the beat:
Puff puff pass
Puff puff pass
As for angels and devils in empty squares,
Their faces start to repeat each others,
Not only in the color of their eyes
But the colors of their manifestos:
Puff puff pass
Puff puff pass
Yesterday,
Before this common era,
If this is the quandary that
Jesus and Janus left us in,
What differences once roamed the earth?
And why do their fossils
Look like coal mines to us?
